From writing the page to owning what happens next
For about seven years I was a B2B SaaS content writer. I was good at the part of marketing that lives on the page: keywords, articles, the content calendar.
I kept hitting the same limit. I could write the piece, but I didn’t own what happened after it went live. I was also bored.
So I moved into marketing and growth, where you own the whole picture. Content used to be my whole job. Now it’s one part of a system. Search brings people in, the page converts them and the data shows what to do next.
I’m still early in growth work and learning fast. Seven years of writing taught me what buyers want to read.
